We work with people whose contribution deserves a longer life.
Scholars Advisory is a private practice at the intersection of intellectual work, professional standing and institutional life.

Careers of genuine consequence tend to end quietly. The operating knowledge, the judgement built over decades, the methods invented under pressure — most of it stays inside the person who earned it.
We built this practice because there was no serious equivalent of wealth advisory for intellectual capital. Firms exist to manage what you own. Very few exist to manage what you know.
Our work brings together editorial development, academic process, institutional strategy and archival discipline. We treat a career as a body of work: something that can be structured, examined, published, positioned and preserved.
We are deliberately small, deliberately private, and comfortable declining work that does not warrant this level of attention.
Specialists assembled around the record.
Editorial
Commissioning-level editors and researchers who have taken serious books and papers through to publication.
Academic
Advisers with institutional experience of appointments, dossiers, peer review and scholarly standards.
Institutional
Counsel on councils, boards, associations and international bodies, and how they actually make decisions.
Archival
Custodianship, rights, attribution and succession, so the material remains usable decades from now.
